electrical installation

At Mason Construction Crew Ltd, we provide safe, compliant electrical installation and maintenance services for homes, landlords, businesses, and property managers across London. Every job is carried out with a strong focus on safety, workmanship, and compliance with current UK standards, including the requirements of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and relevant UK building regulations where applicable

What we do

We handle everything from small upgrades to full installations, including:

  • Full & partial rewires
  • Consumer unit (fuse board) upgrades
  • Additional sockets, lighting, and power supplies
  • Kitchen & bathroom electrics
  • Outdoor electrics (security lights, garden power, external sockets)
  • Fault finding, repairs, and maintenance
  • Smoke/heat alarm wiring and electrical safety improvements
  • EV charger supply preparation (where required)

Certification & compliance

We don’t just “do the job” — we document it properly. On completion, you’ll receive the correct paperwork for your records, insurers, letting agents, or building control requirements.

Certificates we provide include:

  • EIC (Electrical Installation Certificate): for new circuits, rewires, and significant electrical installation work.
  • EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report): electrical safety inspections for homeowners, landlords, and commercial properties (condition reporting with observations and recommendations).
  • Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (Minor Works): for alterations or additions that don’t include a new circuit (e.g., adding a spur, changing a light point, certain additions to existing circuits).

Safety first, always

Electrical work must be designed and installed to reduce risks such as electric shock, fire, overheating, nuisance tripping, and damaged equipment. We use appropriate protection devices (such as RCD/RCBO protection where required), correct cable sizing, safe isolation procedures, and proper testing before handover.
